The Studer-Süß duo project is located in improvised music. Double bass meets voice with live electronics: the two move between spontaneous creativity and interactive sound design. They explore the boundaries of traditional music-making, new worlds of sound and create unpredictable musical processes in real time.
In addition, the duo is currently working on a song cycle in which individual improvised pieces are linked thematically or narratively. Poems, spoken words or improvised language fragments serve as inspiration to create pictorial levels of meaning. The result is unique compositions that captivate through their ephemeral and unrepeatable nature.
